you gravitate explores the gravitation of silence. Large gaps of space interrupt kinetic textures while other gestures are "physically loud" yet sonically meek. I was interested in experimenting with the relationship between the accordion and the voice. As two instruments dependent on airflow, I was curious to investigate the different limitations to airflow each instrument has and how these limitations can be used in juxtaposition.
